This necessity is everywhere in our world and for grave reason. It is what keeps our world such a favorable place for us humans to live in and it is what keeps all the living organisms from humans to animals and to bugs, healthy and living, The human body is made up of 50-65% water and this water is of extreme importance to our health. Water is what helps provide the body with the abilities to carry out important functions that help digest our food, help us breathe, make our skin clear, help our hair grow, as well as provide us with energy to tackle on the day. Pros: Spring water is known to come from relatively clean underground water sources so it is more likely to be free of contaminants than that of tap water. Pros: The pro of drinking filtered water is that it rids tap water of its strong chlorine smell and taste, making the water safer to drink and more tastier than tap water. Of course going through the carbon filter and ridding the water of this chlorine also means that the dangers of developing cancer or other diseases that chlorine can pose are eliminated as well. In all, the extra filtration processes make this water more desirable and cleaner than regular tap water for drinking and showering.
Cons: Filtered water can be of great health and safety if filtered properly; however, improper maintenance or use of water filtration systems can actually cause more damage to your water. For example storage of your filtered water is of extreme importance. Neglecting on how to properly store the water can cause recontamination. These compounds boil off with water, meaning that when the water is steamed, captured, and then cooled, these volatile organic compounds are cooled with it, which is why distillation on its own is not enough to yield healthy and pure water.
