It can honestly put a serious damper on the mood when such a thing happens because for starters, we are already dealing with pretty gloomy weather for quite some time now. To have to deal with gloomy weather that feels like forever, shorter days, dark nights, and then sickness. One can easily see how winter after the holidays can be a long nightmare that people await to be over. Don’t get me wrong, winter is beautiful, but after all that staying indoors after the holidays, not seeing the sun out as much, experiencing shorter days, but still going to work and school it can definitely create an environment that really plays around with your mood. For that reason, being sick is something we try to avoid because no one wants to feel even more blecch both mentally and physically! It becomes really common for people to gulp their water down instantly and think that this helps you to stay hydrated when in all honesty, hydration is something that happens slowly. If you gulp your water down like it is nothing, you are way more prone to being dehydrated because you drink the water so quickly at a rate that surpasses your body’s ability to absorb that water for necessary processes, what ends up happening is that your body only takes a certain amount of water in and then completely passes the rest of the water through, leaving you to use the bathroom to urinate the rest. In the end, you ended up drinking a lot of water, but the majority of it was wasted and then after sometime your body needs more hydration so you need to fuel it with more water. It becomes better for you that instead of drinking large amounts of water every few hours that you focus on sipping water every few minutes or as often as you can. That way you know that every bit of water you are consuming is being used by your body efficiently!

Create a Schedule

The best way to implement water into your daily life (if you struggle with that) is by creating a schedule in which you designate specific times for consuming water. Try to tell yourself that you will drink this amount of water when you wake up, a certain amount of water before lunch and dinner, as well as a certain amount of water when you go to bed.
